Jeff Porcaro, the most prolific drummer in yacht rock, passed away on this day in 1992. Aside from his work as a founding member of Toto, his drumming can be heard on numerous YR tracks, including “I Keep Forgettin’”, “Mornin’”, “FM”, “Turn Your Love Around” and “Bad Sneakers”.
