Crime today in 2022 is higher than it was in 2020 but ALSO similar to 2019 and LOWER than 2018 & 2017.
FYI, LAPD's budget increased by $68M last fiscal year & crime still rose. The ONE YEAR that LAPD's budget decreased $16M, crime went down.
